TECHNOLOGY

DIRECTIONAL HYBRID ROCKER:

A directional shape with a hybrid profile that has more rocker than camber.

 

QUADRATIC SIDECUT:

Blending of three radii to improve turn initiation/exit while providing the best grip possible. This design is uniquely formulated for each model based on its shape and riding style.

 

EXTRUDED BASE:

The industry standard extruded 1500 Ptex base material. Good wax absorption and easy to repair.

 

WMNS PERFORMANCE™ CORE:

Specially formulated for the womens line, this core combines lightweight Paulownia wood stringers with high strength Aspen. Available on every womens board.

 

SLIMEWALLS®:

RIDEs exclusive Slimewalls® are forgiving and ductile, absorbing impacts rather than defending against them. Just like your skate wheels, the urethane in Slimewalls® smoothes the interaction with the snow, wood or metal surfaces you may ride on. On top of all that, these babies are virtually indestructible, the most durable sidewalls in snowboarding.

 

IMPACT PLATES LAMINATES:

Added underneath each binding area to improve compressive strength and prevent board breaks where it matters most. Offered in two levels, Single and Double.

 

BIAXIAL GLASS FIBERGLASS:

90° and 0° angles, fun and forgiving.

 

ROLL-IN CONSTRUCTION:

Unique 3D structure built around our urethane Slimewall® sidewalls. Designed to increase overall board strength, prevent topsheet chipping, and reduce weight.

 

Binding Features

 

Asymmetrical Stitched Ankle Strap is made from multi-density 3D padding and formed EVA. The injected polycarbonate Spectrum™ Chassis is lightweight and features a stance correct heel cup. Nylon Highback provides a mix of response and comfort. NEW! Linkage Ratchets provide smooth entry and exit. The KS is designed with a softer flex pattern for easy progression.

A lightweight injected polycarbonate chassis with a stance correct heel cup.

 

WEDGIE™ 2.5 FOOTBED:

An ultra-light footbed that uses subtle angles to align the ankles and knees to a more natural and comfortable position. The angle also gives leverage to press the board for huge pop, without affecting your preferred stance width. The standard Wedgie™ 2.5 is ideal for riders looking for added control and pop.

 

NYLON HIGHBACK:

Traditional Highback material that offers a predictable mix of response and comfort.

 

STITCHED STRAP:

Traditional binding strap construction featuring a clean flip & stitch construction made from multi-density 3D padding and formed neoprene.
